This is not the full piece. It is a cut version. I am realistic about the world we live in, and Avant l'Holodomor exists as a tactical and as a backup strategy. 

It is an alert to my listeners that true artistic freedom is under attack, from political movements to enormous companies..

We all know how the modern world works. We live in an era where people are quick to judge, misunderstand, and try to "cancel" music just because an artist uses a existing piece of music as a foundation or as a bourdon, for inspiration. 

Today's culture often mistakes deep musical interpolation for something malicious, and platforms are quick to delete works that push boundaries.
