Cavalaria Rústica

This musical composition has the power to encapsulate the essence of the human experience through sound. Utilizing the collage technique, I incorporated sounds from various sources to create a truly one-of-a-kind auditory experience.

Comprising of five movements, each movement is representative of different sounds that are typically heard throughout a day. The first movement, "Teste I," features a peaceful and reflective sound, reminiscent of the gentle rustling of leaves in a park. The second movement, "#OE2018 - Leite achocolatado tem mais açúcar que refrigerantes!", on the other hand, is characterized by the clamor of sounds from a bustling city street as people rush to work.

The third movement, "Teste II," is livelier and more energetic, capturing the sounds of a bustling market or shopping mall, with some news updates in the background. The fourth movement, "Sem Nome," is more romantic and melodic, evoking the beauty and tranquility of a village and its rich cultural traditions against the backdrop of a stunning sunset.

The fifth and final movement, "Inacabada," is more intense and frenetic, capturing the sounds of a pulsating city nightlife.

By incorporating a variety of sources such as natural sounds, human voices, and musical instruments, these five movements blend together seamlessly to create a rich and diverse soundscape that captures the different moods and rhythms of a typical day.

The end result is a work that not only enthralls listeners with its captivating sounds, but also provides a unique and compelling representation of everyday life.
